# ADA in the Investment Unit

The Investment Unit can also be formed by ADA or Lovelace, a Native token of the network. It is not the purpose of the Funds to have ADA as an underlying asset, but rather, the opposite: the idea is to invest in other tokens in order to achieve a value appreciation in ADA. If a Fund consists only of ADA, there is no room for any value appreciation. However, ADA could be useful in some times of transition or instability. In addition, it may also be useful to use ADA as a temporary exchange token in the Re-Indexing process.

The Investment Unit with Lovelace could look like this:

<br>

* 100 of Token A
* 2,000,000 Lovelace
* 1 of Token C
