# Token Types

This protocol will have two different types of tokens:

#### MAYZ Token

MAYZ token is the protocol governance token like **MKR** is the governance token of **MakerDAO**.

#### Fund Token (LPT)

Fund tokens are Liquidity Provider Tokens (LPT) minted by the smart contract that holds the corresponding portfolio of assets
